Flor and Tony are as excited as we are that our Food Aid Program is now 85% plastic free!
In collaboration with The Mariposa DR Foundation, we acquired 85 Upcycled Bags handmade using recycled sails by the Mariposa students. We are using these to pack and distribute food supplements to families suffering from food insecurity in Cabarete.
The Cabarete Sostenible Food Aid Program is currently providing food packages to 100 homes every month. We work with local distributors, small family farms like Conuco Criollo and our amazing volunteers to end food insecurity in our town.
