The Festival of Masks will help finance ongoing food distribution & food sovereignty programs.
Cabarete Sostenible started as a response to the COVID19 crisis by providing emergency food aid to vulnerable families in Cabarete. Since last April, Cabarete Sostenible has been able to feed over 8,000 people. We work to eradicate food insecurity and improve quality of life through better education and increased access to economic opportunities.
We work through:
Civic agriculture: community gardens, urban agriculture and a large community farm.
Co-creation of micro-businesses with community members interested in starting their own small enterprise.
Providing free education and training opportunities in sustainable agriculture, wellness and entrepreneurship.
CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE FESTIVAL?
If you are unable to join us on Friday October 30 for the Cabarete Festival of Masks, but would still like to contribute to the cause it supports, you can do so by purchasing a Donation Ticket.
All proceeds go to Cabarete Sostenible and will help us to continue providing emergency food distribution and food sovereignty programs across Cabarete.
Payments can be made via PayPal and credit or debit card.
